We are excited to announce sign-ups for this year’s Tiger Tales Club are now open! We’re making a few changes to help grow the program, make it more intentional and give students new opportunities to shine.
✨ What’s New This Year
We will be accepting the first 20 students from grades K-3. For grades 4th and 5th, students may apply to be a Tiger Tales Ambassador. We will select 10 Ambassadors. Being a Tiger Tales Ambassador is a leadership role. Ambassadors will not only participate in the fun but also help guide and learn alongside our younger Tiger Tales members (K–3). Please note: not all students who sign up or apply will be accepted.
Families will be notified of acceptance for both membership and ambassador positions by October 9th.

In our first session, we’ll explore Part One: A Tidal Wave with guest speaker Mike Mizer from 1N5. After his presentation, we’ll break into small groups for meaningful discussion about the book’s insights and Mr. Mizer’s talk.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Not a kid-friendly event—please make other arrangements for children.

We are getting ready to form our Odyssey of the Mind teams for the 25-26 school year!
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative solutions competition where teams of seven work together to create a unique solution to a problem. Students are given the opportunity to create a story, build worlds and, sometimes, machines. If interested please fill out the attached forms and send back to school to Dr. Hart. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 17th at 5:30 in the New Haven library. This is open to students K-5, and to any parents who would like to become a coach. If you have any questions email Dr. Hart at jody.hart@boone.kyschools.us. Hope to see you there!
The dentist is coming to our school on October 3rd!
The School Smiles on-site dental program provides on-site dental care at our school for ALL students that sign up to participate. The dental team will set up inside our school and they accept Medicaid, private insurance, offer self-pay rates and grants through their foundation.
Registration is now open online at: https://schoolsmiles.com/student-signup/ with over 100 languages to choose from when completing the online form.

📢 Go Pantry Sign-Up is OPEN! 🥪📦
Parents, you can now register for Weekend Food Bags and Extended Break Food Boxes for the 2025-2026 school year from Go Pantry.
Weekend Food Bags supply students with breakfast, lunch, and snack items for the weekend days and come home with students on Fridays. Extended Break Boxes contain larger items and more meal oriented items with some snacks to provide food assistance over extended school breaks (winter, spring, summer) and are scheduled for pick up the week before each break.
